I have been a lighting specialist for the past 16+ years. 

I'm a creative fast learning artist with a passion for lighting and attention to detail who wears his heart on his sleeve.

My passion started early on around the age of 8 with coloring books. My sense for color grew at university and has matured through out my career. 

 

In addition to having lighting expertise, I have also fill various leadership roles during my career. I have mentored junior lighting artists, taught lighting classes, helped setup and maintain calibration rooms, dealt with budgets for lighting equipment, art-directed photo shoots, established and streamlined lighting pipelines, set lighting schedules, and collaborated with multiple departments to develop lighting tools and establish cross-discipline standards and

best-practices.

 

Outside of lighting, I am also a avid photographer. 

 

I started out as a generalist, at a logo animation company pushing logos around. While this was fun, it wasn't enough. I soon found myself in California working on movies and special effects. I then dove head first into the video game world. Where I developed my gaming skills and technical prowess.
